Neighbourhood Development Plan
Draft Questionnaire
Thank you to those of you who were able to come to the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) Review meeting a couple of weeks ago.
As we said then, the next meeting which, you probably be glad to hear, will be the last one for a while as the next step is to agree and then circulate a questionnaire around to everyone in the parish to gather their views which will then be reflected in the updated NDP.
I’ve attached an updated draft of the questionnaire we used when the NDP was first put together.
I should emphasize that this is just a rough draft in order to have something to discuss and consider in the meeting. As a reminder the questionnaire is not designed to cover everything at this stage, for example we need to establish what people think now about development, and then depending on the feedback we have on that aspect, we can then consider the appropriate next steps in the context of the NDP review.
I’ve inserted an introductory section on where I think we are in terms of what the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review (SWDPR) is expecting Pebworth Parish to deliver in terms of housing. That is entirely based on my research and will need checking and probably adjusting so can those with a technical disposition please look at that?
There may well be additional questions which need to be asked, and equally we may decide that some may be deleted (as I’m also mindful that the questionnaire needs to be kept as concise as possible in order to maximise the number of responses we have).
I’ve highlighted some things which occurred to me when I was looking at the draft questionnaire in yellow.
Please read through the document (it isn’t too long), and either circulate your thoughts by email in advance of the meeting (and I’ll try and collate those) or bring them with you and hopefully we can sign off on the questionnaire at next Monday’s meeting and progress to the next stage of the review.
